Austin Henry Richards is an architectural designer and researcher from and based in Southern California. He graduated with honors from the California Polytechnic State University, Pomona, with a Bachelor of Architecture.
After his studies, he practiced in Los Angeles with Chet Architecture, an award-winning residential and interior design studio. As a project designer, he contributed to the development of diverse residential and commercial projects and was the lead designer for a coastal family residence. He was chosen by l’Académie d'Architecture to research collective living as an architect-in-residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. This residency culminated in the project and exhibition, Living Together.
He is currently open to opportunities in learning with and working for an architectural practice. He is looking for full-time roles in Los Angeles and is open to remote work.
