I worked as an architectural intern for DLR Group in their Kansas City office for Summer 2021, Winter 2021, and Winter 2022. I helped with various sports stadiums across the country in different levels of development. I also helped with updating graphics and visuals for various marketing ventures for their XGD team. In doing so, I learned how to collaborate and work in an office while hitting harsh deadlines.
Lamar Johnson Collaborative, Chicago, IL, US, Architectural Intern
I worked as an architectural intern for the Lamar Johnson Collaborative for Summer 2022. I worked on the schematic design for a large-scale mixed-use development in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago. I also helped with various exterior design studies, updating graphics, and picking up red lines in Revit. In doing so, I learned how to manage large-scale projects on a fast timeline while still meeting the needs of the clients.
