Dear Hiring Manager,

I'm a current Master of Architecture student at the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.Arch degree. I have several undergraduate intern experiences. At AZL ARCHITECTS, I was responsible for the DD phase of the Xinanli Renovation Project, where I rebuilt a detailed architectural model after creating several detailed construction drawings, and floor plans. Later, I  worked on the SD and DD phases of the Shuangchuang Factory. After researching and analyzing the site, I redesigned the facade, reused the factory's structural features, and was responsible for the master plan, floor plans, and sections. During my graduate studies, I interned at ENNEAD and utilized parametric techniques to help quickly design the master plan and facade for the entire campus. After these internships, I improved significantly in my abilities and believed I could be an excellent candidate for this position.

Having a profound architectural background, I'm very interested in the relationship between architecture and urbanization and used this as a thesis topic to explore how architecture can improve some of the problems caused by urbanization. In addition, due to the influence of the syllabus, I also become interested in sustainability and learned some software to simulate these environmental factors, such as ladybug, honeybee, and climate studio.
