Cece Stelljes has built her career designing a wide variety of projects in the hospitality, commercial, and residential realms. A former music industry executive, she earned her Master’s degree in Interior Design at Pratt Institute before working at several prominent design firms focusing on restaurants, hotels, retail, and nightclubs.
As co-owner of Revamp Interior Design for nine years, she introduced the firm to hospitality and commercial projects, took on numerous residential clients, and oversaw the company’s impressive growth.
Her work on a West Village townhouse was featured on the cover of Interior Design magazine and bestowed the Best Of Year award. In 2019 she received a RADD award honoring leaders in Brooklyn real estate, architecture, design and development.
“Working with a variety of clients and types of projects ensures that we keep things fresh, yet the process is essentially the same. We get to know our clients, their needs & desires, and the individual properties, then come up with designs that excite our clients and ourselves.
What’s most rewarding is seeing it all come together towards a project’s completion: buildout finished, lighting & furniture installed, art & decor set up, and smiles all around.”
How does interior design compare to working in the music biz? “I still get to enjoy the thrill of discovering lesser known talents and sharing them with wider audiences, although nowadays the music stays on the speakers while I gush about furniture, wallpaper, lighting, and art.”
