Graduate of Parsons School of Design at the New School with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Architectural Design.
Honored with a Sustainable Visions Award.
I am currently an incoming M.Arch Candidate in the Columbia GSAPP program and an Architectural Design graduate of Parsons School of Design at the New School. Previously, I worked as a Postgraduate Researcher at the Parson’s Healthy Materials Lab designing a healthy hemplime template for the elderly population of the White Earth (Ojibwe) nation.
I have a keen interest in history, culture, sustainability, embodied carbon, materiality, light, and context, and I try to apply all of these interests to my architecture. I believe architecture is extraordinarily atmospheric, and design choices in this such an atmosphere must be done with judicious analysis. Architecture should be a reflection of well-thought, intimate, detail-focused design, and not diminish or overshadow local communities. I am inspired to solve problems with design and hope that through this, I can help build a healthier and more equitable world.
