I am an architectural thesis student at Syracuse University, with an interest in sustainable design and urban planning. My outlook on architecture largely stems from my background and growing up in Egypt and experiencing a wide spectrum of architecture ranging from architectural marvels to failures. This has helped hone my interests around urban identity, and the relationship between the city and its people. My professional goal is to build off my interests and be able to implement these ideas in my professional practice in a manner that is both unique to a location and beneficial to its people. I have seen the difference that architecture can make in the lives of people and as a result, I am driven to continue the work which was laid down by my predecessors.
