The Bachelor of Architecture degree is a five-year program that emphasizes the designing laboratory. A three-year fundamental core, three-semester theme studios, and a two-semester lengthy culminating senior project make up the studio sequence. The studio sequence is closely coordinated with lecture classes in Architecture Theory and History, Human Behavior, Professional Practice, Programming, Sustainability, Building Technology, Structures, Codes, and Digital Media, and students are expected to demonstrate their knowledge of these areas in their design projects.
