As a recent graduate, I am in search of a firm that values the responsibility of design, particularly how it impacts the environment and community. I have a sharp eye for design, project narrative and detail; and believe I can make a significant contribution, especially in a collaborative setting where teamwork is valued.
Raised in a military family, I lived in a lot of places in the United States and Europe. I learned to adapt to changing environments, make friends quickly, and get involved in the community. I served four years in the Marine Corps, and attained the rank of sergeant. While in college, I worked in an art store, where among other duties, taught oil painting. I also had other jobs while attending college. These experiences made me self-reliant, expanded my perspective, and taught me how to solve problems.
In architecture my experience as a Project Designer and Intern has exposed me to all aspects of project management, from contract drafting to construction document review and administration.
I love architecture and look forward to developing my skills in an environment that values my skills and experience.
