My name is Nicholas Hinckfuss, a recent architecture graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design. I have been at RISD for seven years, receiving both a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design and a Master Degree of Science in Architectural Design. I strongly believe that my creative talents will prove to be a valuable asset to your organization. I have a passion for innovation and love to experiment with different ideas. I am known for engaging and devising original, thought-provoking concepts and forms. Over the years, through diverse experiences I have cultivated skills in project research, conceptualization, architectural representation, and my favorite, model making. Making is an important skill to underline. It is through making that we can better understand the structural limitations of a particular design, which further allows us to discover new properties and boundaries of a particular structure. I enjoy a workplace that promotes a culture of discovery and positivity, consensus-driven and high-energy teamwork. I have an artistic eye and strong work ethic, in addition to fostering an element of positivity. I also offer experience in communication, critical thinking and teamwork.

During my Industrial Design degree, I had the pleasure of working in different scales ranging from furniture design to boat design. I have participated in many RISD exhibitions as well as being part of an MIT team creating a social project for kids and parents.
