Frank Ponterio Interior Design, Chicago, IL, US, Design Intern
With Frank Ponterio, I honed in my skills in residential interior
design. This consisted of working in the CAD files, creating and editing various drawings throughout the project. I designed client presentations and attended meetings with the collaborating architectural firm. I communicated often with vendors in researching and selecting furniture, fixtures, and finishes. I was also responsible for more administrative tasks, such as placing orders and working in the project budgets.
IA Interior Architects, Washington, DC, US, Design Intern
At IA, my responsibilities mostly lied within the Revit program files, working with clients to reach a deliverable, observing the different stages of the design process. This allowed me to better gain an understanding of the commercial industry while collaborating and working as part of a team. While there, I worked on a large scale government workplace project, working in the technical drawings, rearranging floor plans, putting together furniture packages, and creating client presentations.
University of Cincinnati, BArch, Architecture
During my studies at the University of Cincinnati, I was awarded the Cincinnatus Scholarship and made the Dean's List every semester, ending with a cumulative 3.57 GPA.
