About

Construction has been a part of my life since I was young, as I come from a family of builders in Brazil. I remember helping my father with his construction business at a young age during my school vacations. Being around him and his clients at my family's construction supply store gave me a natural affinity and appreciation for the industry and the problems and needs of customers. After earning my BA in International Relations from a top school in São Paulo, I returned to support and grow my family's construction business. In this role, I was responsible for the full P&L management, payroll and operations, vendor selection, and inventory management.

Additionally, I managed a new venture for the development of multiple housing projects (condos, townhouses, single-family homes) in Brazil, where I oversaw pricing, construction management, marketing, and final property sales. Later, I moved to the U.S. and began working on renovation projects to understand better the local construction market, materials, consumer demands, and design trends. To complement my understanding of construction techniques, I completed an interior design program to enhance my education and focus on more technical design aspects.  I applied my breadth of knowledge and experience to work at two high-end residential luxury firms, Thomas Melhorn in Palm Beach, Florida, and Thad Truett in Sea Island, Georgia with a focus on design, coordination, specification, graphic presentations, and client management.

Through both experiences, it became clear the gap in the market and the need for someone with my unique skill set to provide a more complete white-glove service that better-connected homeowners, architects, designers, and builders.
