City of Rotterdam Conference Invitation to Present Work, Other
During my study abroad at TU Delft, I took coursework that involved extensive field work, research, and analysis about the socio-spatial inequality present in the neighborhood of Tarwewijk in South Rotterdam. A representative from the City of Rotterdam attended our final presentations and invited my group (3 of us - equal, collaborative participation) to present the work at a conference where they would be discussing the inequality issues in that area. It was a very memorable and meaningful experience to be able to bring everything we learned from our research, and most importantly, from speaking with community members, to light in a setting where it could really make a difference.
