About

Laura Oliver is an interior designer with experience in project management, facility planning, space planning, knowledge of ADA, healthcare and building codes, developing budgets, cost estimation of FF&E, proficiency in AutoCAD, as well as daily supervision of furniture installations.

After graduating from the Auburn University Interior Design Program, Laura moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a career in design. After an internship at a real estate and development firm, she moved into a contracted project management position at the Los Angeles VA and after one year, accepted a full time position as an interior designer for the VA.

Working in the healthcare field has been a great opportunity to learn just how much patient care drives the needs for functional, accessible design, but also how important the aesthetics of an interior environment are to the healing and wellness process. Healthcare is only one example of how interior design can be used to protect the health, safety and wellness of end users, and Laura is passionate about exploring other fields of design in the future.
