Vladimir Castaneda is a current FIU student cursing a major in architecture. His professional studies started about 12 years ago in Cuba. Design and function were his major interest in his early life. He has been always delighted by the idea that function can shape the design. Consequently, he decided to start a bachelor’s in mechanical Eng.
A few years later he emigrates to Unites States searching for new opportunities. He realized that his current study field was missing a little touch, Art. Architecture was the field where he can fulfill all his professional interests. He started his studies in Architecture in Miami Dade collages in 2017. After receiving his degree in AA in Architecture in 2018, he transferred his studies to Florida International University where he’s currently focused in receiving a Major in Architecture expecting graduation in Spring 2021
While being in school, he also works as a designer at Drew Tucker Studio. The studio works as a local representation of Meyer Davis, an internationally recognized interior design boutique. The firm has been part of major projects in Miami such as Park Grove, Marina Pointe, Dolce in Barcelona and currently working in international projects such as Novo in Cancun.
