About

I am a practical person who grew up loving art and architecture. Going to Rensselaer I learned that while I am still passionate about design, all architecture isn't the same. I wanted to do work that could also inspire me, and so I enrolled in a summer course at the ICAA in NYC that focused on Classical Architecture. It was exactly what I needed to find my niche and set me off to get a Master's of Historic Preservation at UPenn. Together I think I can use what I have learned to work with the new and the old as well as think deliberately about social issues in the built environment. Architecture is more than just design, it's building environments for people to work, live, and enjoy.
