National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea, Seoul, Exhibition Manager
I worked at MMCA (National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art) as an exhibition manager. My job consisted of coordinating and supervising the construction of art exhibitions at the museum. It was a great opportunity to work with curators at the museum and famous artists, and experience the process behind completed art exhibitions. Moreover, the exhibition manager job broadened my architectural understanding of the museum and art exhibition spaces.
Haeahn Architecture, Seoul, KR, Associate
During more than five years of experience at Haeahn Architecture, I worked on various kinds of international projects including a sports center, residential, hotel, and high-end resort pool & spa. I have experienced the whole process of architectural projects from schematic design for design competition proposal to construction administration. Especially, in the Walkerhill Resort Pool & Spa project, I contributed to the competition design packages, drawings from schematic design to construction document phase, and was in charge of facade curtain wall detail and structural design coordination. In the design development phase, I visited the Austrian architectural firm DMAA in Vienna for 2 months and worked with them on envelope detail coordinations.
