I have my five-year architecture professional degree from University of Southern California(USC). and I am a second-year Master in Design Studies of Urbanism, Landscape, and Ecology student at Harvard Graduate School of Design.
With expertise in the complexities of all scales of design, I am able to think from different perspectives in a broader and deeper understanding of the context. I have been trained to design and think from the smaller scale of furniture design to the bigger scale of urban form in social and environmental conditions, in which all design involves human interaction. I believe that the future of urban is a field to combine all scales of design to solve and respond to urban topics. One of the possible solutions to the current urban condition is the vernacular and cultural landscapes that deal with climate change and resilient issues. I have a deep thought about this when I practice my design, and that is the reason I transfer my direction from architecture to urban, landscape, and ecology. I am confident to translate the language between landscape and architecture design. I feel the responsibility as a designer to be aware of the relationship among people, the city, and the environment.
I took classes in real estate and mix-used development at Harvard and the class of urban economic at MIT. I am able to think for clients which the project is not only aesthetic and social value but more about how to raise the economic value for both developers and government. It helps me to think about how to sell our ideas and design and make it a tool to better assist people in all urban conditions and upcoming environmental issues.
