About

Margie Lavender is a Principal at Ike Kligerman Barkley, a firm known for distinctive design rooted in tradition, yet modern in its sculptural forms, taught detailing, and often a touch of whimsy. Outside of architecture, she is passionate about gardening and is a patron member of the New York Botanical Garden and a founder of the Hastings Pollinator Pathway, an initiative that supports pollinators by strategically linking large green spaces via networks of pollinator-friendly gardens on public and private land. Originally from Texas, she now calls the Hudson Valley home.
