I am a Community and Regional Planning candidate at the University of New Mexico’s School of Architecture and Planning, with degrees and competencies in Planning, Historic Preservation, and Architecture.
My academic training and 6 years of experience working have helped me develop my designing skills, conceptualization, teamwork abilities, data analyzing, communications, zoning, and land use skills.
I have extensive experience in data mapping and analyzing and documenting, archiving, and researching buildings, landscapes, and historical sites, in a variety of diverse contexts. I also have architecture and construction experience in residential renovation projects. I am a published author of English and Farsi scholarly works.
I possess excellent computer and technical skills with advanced knowledge of Auto CAD programs, ARCGIS, Sketch-up, Revit, Microsoft Office, In Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop. I am extremely detail-oriented and have strong problem-solving skills that enable me to complete every project accurately and to the highest standard possible.
I am seeking work in the field of planning, historic preservation, and architecture. Please email me at zmehrabi@unm.edu, for work, and internship opportunities. I will be available for full-time work beginning May 20, 2021.
