I’m a recent graduate of University of San Diego with an interest in working in the architecture field. I am eager to learn, grow, and become an integrated member of a design team.
Many of my undergraduate work, including my thesis project - Braced, emphasize architecture’s role as an extension of the people, the environment, and the surrounding community. My academic experience has honed my designing, problem-solving, learning, and teamwork skills and I am looking for exciting opportunities to contribute and grow.
When I’m not on the job, I love crossing off my reading list, indulging my love for food, and traveling to unforgettable destinations.

I attended the architecture program at the University of San Diego, which is embedded in the liberal arts education. I originally intended on pursuing a degree in Behavioral Neuroscience; however, after I took an introductory studio course, I fell in love with the stimulating hands-on experience of studio culture.
The studios, lectures, and seminars not only taught me how to design but also encouraged me to think critically and feed my curiosity through independent studies and inquiries. What I like the most about my studio experience is that each student got to create a senior thesis project of their choosing, which is often interdisciplinary and heavy on research. The professors cared not only about the technical competency or the “aesthetic” of our designs, but more so about the social and political implications of our architectural interventions, which is a rare opportunity students get at a liberal arts institute.
Though the late-night studio sessions often got rough, it was so fun and rewarding to share and exchange critiques with fellow students while we expand the horizon of our knowledge into topics we wouldn’t have pursued on our own.
