Across my academic and personal experience, I have learned that as designers our ability to create comes from using the right techniques. One of my motivations to become an architect has been the idea that architecture relates and communicates with people and their environment, learning about their needs, how to satisfy them and engaging their body to different experiences in a space.

The class I assisted was Representation and Analysis I (undergraduate course) Representation and Analysis II (Graduate Course) I assisted with classroom management with the professors. I provided feedback during progress and final reviews as well as answering questions and explaining parts of the process. During Fall, the course introduces technical hand-drawing skills as well as analysis tools to undergraduate students in their first steps into architecture. During Spring, the course introduces 3D representation and fabrication using Rhino, Grasshopper, and 3DMax and V-Ray.
Local Office Landscape and Urban Design, New York, NY, US, Architectural Intern
I created urban street sections for environmental strategies for the Arverne East Master Plan in the Rockaways New York. I participated in the design for an urban farm, the Town Square and entry Plazas. What is more, I worked on construction documentation for the landscape design for Grove Central Station in Miami, and the Brownsville and Borough Park NYPL.
The New School, Chiang Mai, TH, Teacher Assistant
Guided and advised students from Chulalongkorn and Parsons in an 11-day international urban workshop, led by Brian McGrath. Students had to recognize and analyze the characteristics of the different compound houses located in villages in Chiang-Mai, and the various economic sources between handcrafts and rice cultivation.
Handel Architects, New York, Architectural Intern
My work focused on Sendero Verde, a 700-unit, 100% affordable housing, mixed-use, passive house project in East Harlem, NY. I was involved in the DD and CD phases and my tasks included amenity space interior design, coordination with the client and consultants, and millwork design. Additionally, I worked on some façade design studies, construction documentation, and redlines.
Studio M+S, Quito, EC, Architect
Designed, and collaborated in commercial interior design for “Republica del Cacao” chocolate boutiques and museum in Ecuador. Finalized construction details for the “Bonsai Museum Pavilion” and the Elementary School “El Matal”, bamboo structural projects. In addition, I participated in the schematic design phase for the corporate interior of Confiteca headquarters, vacation villas in Manabí and a hotel in the Galapagos Islands.
Erazo y Garcia Architectos, Quito, EC, Architect
Designed, and coordinated residential and industrial projects. Designed a development for a hostel in Quito; researched programmatic needs and created a walkthrough of the design. Additionally, I designed a food truck and the commercial design of a new optic franchise.
Arista Promarq, Quito, EC, Architectural Intern
Worked on construction documentation for the master plan of Punta Ballena, a retirement and vacation complex which would be in Manabi, Ecuador. Additionally, designed and drafted vacation villas in Punta Ballena.
Parsons School of Design, New York, NY, US, MArch, Architecture
Recipient of the Dean and University Scholarship. The program focuses in the development of sustainable and conceptual projects. What is more, there is an emphasis on environmental and social justice in the built environment, and how our role as architects affects the communities we take part of. I was awarded the AIA Henry Adams Medal 2020.

The program gives us the right technical tools and design skills to become architects in the real world. There is an emphasis in the right study of building codes in Ecuador and use of different materials and it's impact in the constructed environment.
