I am a dynamic Architect with Eighteen years of experience in the United States in corporate and Commercial Buildings, Hospitality, federal buildings, mixed use buildings, institutional, educational and industrial.
I have been working in Hospitality facilities as well as educational projects experience from Pre K-12 to Higher Educational Facilities. I have developed designs for chain restaurants and retail organizations such as Walgreens, Drug Fair, Staples, Five Guys, Huffman Koo’s furniture, Macy’s, etc. On the other hand, I have experience in façade restoration, interior and exterior rehabilitation in the New York City area and I have worked in several well-known architecture and design firms in Colombia and in the United States.
I graduated from the University of Valle (Cali, Colombia) in 1995, with honors, and I earned a five-year master’s degree in architecture. Currently taking the Architecture Registration Examination (ARE) for the New York Architectural License, I have a LEED (Associate Degree certification).

Resilient Home Design Challenge-Finalist Scenario 1, Honorable Mention
The World Bank, Build Academy, Airbnb, and GFDRR were calling upon architects around the world to develop designs for resilient, modular and affordable homes that cost under $10,000.
The goal of this online challenge is to generate projects for resilient housing that can be implemented in areas in need. Natural disasters are happening more often due to climate change.
Winning designs were published and invited to exhibit at the World Bank, and flown into Washington DC, and other selected global venues.
