I have had roughly 2-3 years (rounded) of work experience, through professional job and internships, and my education structure in the field/ industry of Architecture. I can contribute to the design process by leading and assisting architectural documentation at all stages of the project till completion. Through high skills with Revit, Enscape, Sketch-up and the Adobe creative suite, I can assist creation of graphic materials and producing client presentations. I can take additional responsibilities of LEED documentation and FFE. Recently, i focused on studying the WELL Building Standard and prepared to appear for the examination. Now, as a WELL AP, i can contribute to the design process with human health and wellness goals which are much needed in these times. Majority of my work during thus far can be loosely categorized under Education- Campus/ Higher Education/ K-12 or elementary, Interiors and Renovation, Sustainability oriented projects (complete list is covered in my resume). I also have the exposure of working on and basic know-how of large scale urban planning projects and of building systems- all these aspects together give me an edge as a candidate.
I wish to expand my knowledge by participating in various typology of projects, expanding at various scales. I aim to learn the process of putting the pieces together to build new destinations, homes, infrastructure to support functions and institutions, leading to a better and holistic environment, sustainable even for the generations to come. I want to be part of a team which drives to serve the society, to create healthier and universal environments, respectful of nature and hence, drive change.

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Urbana-Champaign, MArch, Archtiecture
I followed the urbanism track- under the umbrella of Architecture, through courses selected and my research assistant-ship. The research aimed at the study of thresholds- their design, character and implications with the objective of breaking down silos concept of different fields and combining them by highlighting the in-between. My course also gave me the opportunity to work on a planning development scale project- the 62 acres site at Roosevelt and Clark in Chicago, IL. Our team of 3 students was nominated for the Graduate Design Excellence Award for this very project completed as part of Chicago Studio. My other studio projects fall under typologies- mixed use residential with food market, and elementary school, incubator, urban design – each were dealt with at the architecture and urban scale. During the course, I also broadened my software through basic learning of 3d modelling and simulations- Grasshopper, DIVA, ANSYS.

My undergraduate studies provided the basics knowledge and acumen to becoming a holistic architect-well rounded with the technical skills, creative thinking, innovative problem-solving abilities, and a resonance with context and the environment. These 5 years motivated the inclination towards sustainability and urbanism in architecture, which i developed further through graduate studies.
