University of São Paulo (USP), São Paulo, Masters, Project Management in Construction

Title of the Thesis: The Implementation of Daylight Performance Simulation Assisted by Parametric Modeling in the Design Process of an Architecture Firm.

This research investigated the implementation process of daylight performance simulation through parametric modeling in the design process of an architectural design firm. While there is extensive research on the use of parametric modeling tools and digital simulation, few studies analyze the necessary procedures for implementing these technologies in the design process of architectural firms. The developed implementation method, based on the convergence of Technology, Process, People, and Management (TPPG), enabled the integration of daylight performance simulations into the company's design process as an analysis and decision-making tool.
