I’ve spent the last three years in the Interior Architecture program at Ohio University gaining and expanding my body of knowledge in design. Within the program I have completed 12 total design projects whilst discovering interests in lighting design and structural functions. I have vast knowledge in programs such as AutoCad, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suit, and Microsoft Office.
My experience began in the first year of my program, when I received my first student work position in the Architecture Office of Design and Constructions at Ohio University. I worked alongside project managers to perform a wide range of tasks for the various projects campus wide. During the summer of 2019, I interned at Whitehall Interiors working under the design team and the production team on an array of high-rise residential projects. I was able to enhance my skills in Autocad and other programs used within the office. Along with my current employment at Mike Noel Architect as a Junior Interior Designer, I have done freelance work for a bed and breakfast in Guysville Ohio, redesigning the interior of a 19th century house.

Ohio University Student EXPO, 1st Place
The Student Expo is a University wide presentation across all majors and departments. This gives students a chance to present their creativity and research projects to an array of judges, the community, and to other students. I received first place in the arts for my project for the Ridges Retirement Center for active seniors. With this award I was also given a 300 dollar scholarship.
