A graduate student at Drexel University, currently pursuing my masters in Interior Architecture and Design. Coming from a civil engineering background has provided me with with a strong foundation of building design, drawing and modeling that gives me a comprehensive approach to interior design. The effect of thoughtful and good design on a person's experience of it has resonated with my drive for creating designs that have an emotional impact and leave an impression. My role as an intern involved:
• Composing concept collages based on client briefs
• Creating 3-Dimensional renders using Revit for various projects
• Curating furniture selections in line with the project brief and budget
• Contacting furniture vendors, acquiring information regarding latest products and placing orders
• Designed custom rack to display stone samples for the studio material library

• Developing efficient space plans and furniture layouts for during the Schematic design phase

The intensive MS Interior Architecture and Design course at Drexel has allowed me to push myself, to constantly keep learning and upgrade my technical and soft skills. Studying in one the most deemed institutes in India, NIT Calicut, has been a privilege. Having had the opportunity to indulge in the technical aspects of enclosing a space, creating 3 Dimensional forms and think about stability and serviceability of forms has enabled me to think of interior design differently.
Courses such as Building Drawing and Design, Conservation of Architectural Monuments and Fundamentals of Building Design ignited a curiosity in me to learn more about interior spaces and their affect on the users within.

In recent years, healthcare design has been experiencing an invigorating renaissance and it was important to approach this project with that trajectory in mind.
