My name is Xiaogang Shen and I currently completed my Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. With much enthusiasm I am writing to you to express my interest for the job with your firm.

During the last summer of my undergraduate, I worked as an architectural intern for three months at CITIC General Institute of Architecture Design and Research in China. My basic responsibility involved making digital and physical model, landscape draft design, creating presentation graphics, and prepare the documents for Fire Protection Review and Approval process.

From my education, I have cultivated the abilities in concept design, solving design problems and various digital and hand illustration. I am adept at many technical and computer skills. To diversify my understanding of architecture, I took the Hernan Diaz Alonso’s studio where I have learned using animation as the platform for organizing and presenting the architectural design. I also have learn various coding methods like Grasshopper and Processing, when I tried to optimize the work flow in design detailing.
