My name is Maureen Scally. I am a 28 year old Argentinian architect and art lover. I was born in a little province in the north of Argentina called Salta. 

I lived in Venezuela during my childhood where I went to an American School. I had the opportunity of making friends from all over the world, which gave me perspective and a very deep sense of diversity. This school also gave me a very fluent spoken and written English. 
Once I moved back to Argentina, I decided to study Architecture in the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) from which I graduated in 2016.

In my current position, at Heusch Inc., I am in charge of the remodeling of a mid century house. We are trying to bring back the 50's spirit with a modern twist. We designed the living room, bedrooms, bathrooms, and outdoor spaces in a very minimalistic and colorful way. Studying carefully the material palette and textures.  

We have demolished a big portion of it in order to make the space more flexible, aligned to the client’s needs and way of living. I had two interns collaborating with me in the first months of the project. It was a challenging experience regarding the very demanding deadlines. 
I am proud of the results and the team efficiency.

Before this, I also participated in Alto Cedro project, a residential building in Beverly Hills, preparing the plans and documents for city submittal.
I worked in Minotti project as well, a commercial building for an Italian furniture brand. I prepared the plans, sections, elevations and details of the project.

Through these and other working experiences detailed in my resume (most of them Architecture studios in Argentina) I consider myself experienced with building materials and systems, capable of designing layouts and analyzing different flexible options for interior and exterior spaces. I also developed a strong interested in contemporary art and created my own enterprise called Trazo Vivo (Live Trace). I do ink and watercolor drawings based on people stories. 

I consider myself a very cheerful and humble person, hardworking and responsible. I have experience with AutoCAD, Sketch up, and Photoshop. I always prefer drawing by hand and using color pencils during the first steps of a project or an idea. I believe in team work, communication and freedom.
