Aydelott Travel Award, Grant

The Aydelott Travel Award was established by Alfred Lewis Aydelott, FAIA (1916-2008) and his wife, Hope Galloway Aydelott (1920-2010) to help architecture students at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville; Auburn University; Mississippi State University; and the University of Tennessee to develop effective analytical skills.
The award funds travel to four buildings of the student's choice, which s/he must then document and justify as ranking among the world's greatest buildings.

Fay Jones School of Architecture Departmental Superjury, 2nd Place

My work was selected as the exemplar from The spring 2018 Mass Timber Studio taught by Portland architect Thomas Robinson, and entered into a competition to be judged by a panel of outside design critics. I was awarded 2nd prize by the jury, which included Carlos Jiménez, Jeana Ripple, and Lawrence Scarpa.
