My name is John Steens and I recently graduated with my Masters in Architecture & Design. Over the past 5 years I have flexed my time between the graduate education in Architectural Design, Woodshop-3D Modeling Graduate Assistant, freelance creative projects that include public installations. I’ve also been apart of creating and managing social media blogs, service to community and acquiring technical skills with Apple Inc.
During this same time period I was fortunate to participate in a few International design based experience’s. I took part in a closed design competition in Brussels, I was then invited to take part in The Bartlett School of Design’s “Summer-Lab” located in London. I most recently was involved in a month long expedition and study of Japanese design in Tokyo and Kyoto.
