Born and raised in Oakland, California, Zachary is a product of the Oakland Unified School District. Having graduated from Cornell University in May of 2019, Zachary received his Bachelors in Architecture and a Minor in Italian.
With the same determination and drive he has shown growing up in one of the most diverse cities in America, Zachary is always looking for a new experience and is up for any challenge.

Worked primarily on a confidential competition. Work included extensive research as well as concept design and models. Tasks also include assisting in renderings and other visualizations for various projects and completing diagrams and models.
Jurassic Studio, Chicago, IL, US, Architectural Designer Intern
Primarily worked to design a 5,000 SF French bakery, bar, and restaurant in Streeterville as well as a Beer and Tequila Tavern in Little Village. My tasks included extensive research, material and fabrication studies, early conceptual design and the drawing of permit documents. Other projects include office restructuring, kitchen renovation schemes and contributed to the Barack Obama Presidential Center.

Aided in the production of Architectural Visualization images. Worked in various stages of the process, designed initial mood boards for clients, assisted in setting camera views, post-production editing and color correction. Photographed Angelenos and procured release forms for modeling purposes.
Gensler, Oakland, CA, US, Architectural Intern
Worked with the design team (Work-Flex 2) on a multi-million dollar office and residential complex in the Uptown district of Oakland. While my principal task was to construct a model, I also developed lobby schemes and paneling details via 3D modeling. Concurrently, I worked to integrate 3D resin printer into the day to day design process.

Produced detail drawings with the in house Architect. Designed and templated media, including the company’s newsletter, cover pages, posters, and online advertisements.
nycobaNOMA Diversity in the School of Architecture Award, 1st Place
Award administered by nycobaNOMA to help address the issue of decreased enrollment in Architecture schools. I received this award upon submitting my synopsis on "What inspired me to become an Architect" and I was honored at the 2016 nycobaNOMA Young Designers Conference.
