Varoon Kelekar is a recent graduate from the Yale School of Architecture. He acquired his Bachelors in Architecture from the Mumbai University where he was awarded the B.G. Bhatt Memorial Award for his academic performance and a Gold Medal for his undergraduate thesis “An Analogous Street.” He has worked internationally with place-based architectural firms including Studio Mumbai in India and Field Office Architects in Taiwan. His interests lie in developing architecture as a social practice designed to engender solidarity and build up resilience within communities in the age of the Anthropocene.
