Even though I was educated as an architect and trained as an interior designer, I have realized that I am interested in everything around design. Landscape, drafting, hand drawings, interior, furniture, logo, graphic, architecture, and urban. Auto CAD and Adobe have become second nature to me over these last 5 years.
Mark Haddawy Inc., Los Angeles, CA, US, Interior Designer Intern
I am confident in my skills as a CAD modeler in many programs like Sketch-Up/ Rhino and rendering images/ creating seamless textures in photoshop. These models were made from personal measurements or original plans and used for historical restorations, renovations, furniture design/ placement, and many more additions to the high-end residential buildings. I would finalize some of these furniture models and additions in Lay-Out for our fabricator.

Alpine Construction, Altoona, WI, US, Assistant to Contractors
Assisted the contractor who was a family friend with minor work like sheetrock repair, plumbing repair, stud repair, a few roof replacements, and even deck replacement.
Portland State University, Portland, OR, US, BArch, Architecture
Spent the first year mainly studying how to do hand drafting and rendering. The rest of the years were spent using Rhino and Photoshop to create mixed-use buildings. We were taught a lot about material use, LEED verification, building code standards and many different mechanical services to decrease water and energy usage. I also took a few classes focused on marketing and graphic design.
