Emine Halefoglu is an Associate I at Modellus Novus, where she applies creative thinking, 3D visualization, and graphic design skills across project phases. She takes great joy in creating spaces where one can feel at ease and connect with others. Emine has previously worked at Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), ODA, Rockwell Group, and GD Architectes. She has a Master of Science in Architecture from Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio in Switzerland, where, in her final year, she focused her thesis on the public spaces of St. Moritz under the guidance of Pritzker Prize winners Grafton Architects. She is also a licensed architect in Switzerland. Emine grew up in Istanbul, completed high school in Geneva, and went on to study in Mendrisio, Switzerland before coming to New York for work. She was a member of Turkey’s national ski team and is fluent in Italian, French, and Turkish.

Associate I participates in the development and execution of
MN’s various projects. Developing both design and technical
solutions under the supervision of project leaders, Associate
I’s work independently, but have robust design, technical,
and managerial infrastructure to support their efforts. With
essential professional experience, Associate I’s are able
to develop multiple aspects of a project while also guiding
Associates in the development of design proposals. Capable
of liaising with technical consultants and participating in
client meetings, Associate I’s are responsible for a range of
responsibilities for the projects in which they are involved.
Associate I’s interact and collaborate with the project leaders
to maintain MN’s standard for quality of work.

I worked as a Junior Designer, I had many tasks from rendering and concept building to preparing presentations for the client. I mostly worked on the concept stage of the design and gained some experience on the Construction Design phase of the building process.
