I am a Canadian Registered Architect, living and working in China for the last 13 years.
For more then 20 years, I am a Project Leader, a Studio Director and a Design Director, in Canada and in China.
I started working in China in 2007, and never stopped. I was responsible for the concept design and for the development design of huge projects, all around China, working for big international firms and local firms. I oversaw all the phases of the projects.
I have extensive experience in coordinating directly with important clients, developers, governments, universities, cultural institutions, for all kind of projects and situations. This help me a lot to develop very good communication skills and allow me to understand and analyse complex situations and client needs.
As a graduate of a master’s degree in management, (MBA), it helped me to understand and manage efficiently situations in and outside the office, managing multi disciplinary teams, and develop strong ability for persuasion and negotiation.
Coming to China, I discovered that I have a great capacity of adaptation, essential in architecture. Living abroad also helped me to develop my self-awareness and self-confidence.
I learned 5 languages and speak 4 of them.
Thank you for your time.
Regards.
