Based in New York City with a global portfolio of clients, the mission of the practice is to create a structure that enhances rather than limits design, which truly integrates architecture with engineering. Aside from providing design, rehabilitation, and inspection services in buildings and related infrastructure, we also provide building envelope/facade engineering; glass engineering; engineering for floating structures in the marine and coastal environment; and bridge engineering. Often through innovative combinations of traditional and contemporary structural ideas, the founder of ISSE has been able to pioneer unique and often, the "first of its kind" structures, allowing an architect to realize a vision that many initially would think could not be possible.
