About 

Project Architect with a Masters in Architecture from the Pratt Institute Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Design. I have a variety of professional experiences in architectural research and design, including structural and mechanical design experience. I also have contribute my expertise through volunteering with groups such as Engineers Without Boarders and Friends of Plus Pool. 

Employment 

Cragnolin Engineering and Design Associates, New York, NY, US, Project Architect

• Collaboration with SLS Construction, NYC DDC and contractors to complete structural and mechanical drawing sets and design changes for homes in the Build-it-Back program (Hurricane Sandy Recovery).
• Management of 30 NYC Department of Environmental Conservation wetland permits through site plan design, site visits and adherence to codes.
• Research NYC zoning requirements and building codes for 5 residential BSA applications requiring zoning relief.
• Completion and coordination with architects to meet design parameters for structural drawing sets for Brooklyn brownstone renovations.

Family New York, New York, NY, US, Freelance Designer

• Schematic design development of +POOL, the world’s first floating filtering pool, including program, design layout, material studies and user experience through model making, photoshop and digital design.
• Bi-weekly meetings with Arup Engineers, Persak and Wurmfeld naval architects and Friends of +POOL nonprofit to collaborate on design
parameters, filtration system strategies, energy analysis and financial expectations.
• Assist in interior design projects including image rendering, modeling making, drawing, and site visits for clients like Nike and Off White.

• Collaborate with founders and fellows on LaFarge-Holcim Grant including: idea development, concept research, design and documentation of the award-winning urban cricket farming shelters.
• Lead independent research and design on the cricket shelter structural system details and insect farming habitats for future manufacturing
and construction.
• Assistant in the data collection and graphic design for the publication of Terreform ONE’s new monograph, Design with Life, featuring overall research and process of all projects since its founding.

• Weekly studio meetings (4hours) to provide feedback and personalized assistance on student design and aid in technical problems to ensure accomplishment of goals.
• Provide technical tutorials in Maya, Rhino and rendering softwares to support architectural drawing and image development.
• Communication with the instructor to maintain an updated schedule for student meetings and studio pin-up reviews as well as communicate individual student progress.
