As a computational designer, I am experienced in parametric design and digital fabrication. He was the lead designer and fabricator of the 2018 Singapore Design Week’s main headline, Singaplural’s pavilion.His diverse work profile includes, but not limited to, fabrication consultation work for Google’s Singapore Campus, Facebook’s Singapore’s office and PWC’s Experience Centre, Plugin development for optimizing facade geometry, and Plugin development on Dynamo for generating 3d carpark designs.
My key areas of interests are in computational design, parametric design and digital architecture. I strongly believes in the application of technology in architecture and the marriage between technology and form in architecture. I have honed myself to be highly proficient in scripting and 3d modeling and have crafted several plugin development beyond architectural design applications.
Having worked in the industry, I am passionate about explorative design, and the continuous evolution of architecture with the development and application of new technology in the field of AEC. As such, I constantly learn and update myself with the latest technology, studies beyond my scope as an architectural designer, and ventures into the domain of structural engineering and mathematics.

Masters of Architecture program which focused on the development of a thesis with additional modules. My thesis' main focus was on parametric design creating haptic performative spaces, where the design of the texture was generated by algorithms and relates to the kind of spatial experience that the I intend to create within the space. In addition to that, the analysis of acoustic qualities of the space was used to create an additional depth to the thesis, exploring the possibilities of using algorithmic design to affect the acoustic qualities of a space.

A multidisciplinary approach to architecture design where the first years regardless of program enrolled in, have to go through a common curriculum to understand the various aspects of design and technology, from mathematical concepts and classical mechanics to the humanities.
In architecture study, I chose to focus on computational design and data driven design, having had the opportunity to learn about data driven design based on landscape topography and structural analysis with topological optimization amongst others. Furthermore, core studios have had certain emphasis on sustainability studies, such as computational fluid dynamics analysis of wind and solar irradiation analysis in reaction to design options and outcome.
GRAPHISOFT Design Competition: Algorithmic Design Meets BIM, 2nd Place
GRAPHISOFT’s ‘Algorithmic Design Meets BIM’ Competition inspired outstanding designs from around the world. Competition participants were invited to submit their work developed with the combination of Rhino-Grasshopper-ARCHICAD tools and their relevant extensions. Entries were judged according to three main criteria:
Practicality – how the solution increases efficiency in the design workflow;
Inventiveness – originality in the use of the toolset;
BIM integration – the level of BIM methodology achieved.

PROJECT:
This international competition calls on and challenges participants to design a skyscraper or series of Skyscrapers as a housing solution for the deprived area of Dharavi in Mumbai, India.
The competition is seeking to explore and investigate the possibility of a relatively adequate temporary housing solution for dwellers of the densely populated Dharavi, area – a city within a city. The design or concept should be one that is inspirational and of high quality tall construction using used-shipping containers as building modules.
It should be a design solution that responds effectively to achieving such a tall and large scale housing solution in the form of a skyscraper and one that could be replicated next to each other to form a mini Steel City in Mumbai.
The skyscraper or skyscrapers will serve as residential accommodations for the workers and families who now reside in dwellings and an area considered one of the largest slums in Asia, even with its thriving mini economy.
