Irene Kapinga is an architectural design with masters degree in Architecture from Miami Universityof of Oxford Ohio. She holds a five-year bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Ardhi University (ARU), Dar es Salaam Tanzania (2010-2015).
After her first degree, Irene practiced as an intern in several Architectural firms in Tanzania, where she collaborated on residential, cultural and commercial Buildings. 
In addition to her professional experience, she also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Institute Rural Development Planning (IRDP). Her design is driven by her passion to address climate change, and for nature, traditional materials, and natural phenomena. 
At her free time, Irene likes to cook, watch movies, listen to music, paint and travel.
