Z+ Architects, Allendale, NJ, US, Summer Intern
During my summer internships with Z+, I worked on several projects at a time at any stage from schematic design to construction documents. I helped model and occasionally design options for the clients, which were mostly residential projects. I used Revit extensively for this job and got practice setting up constructions documents as well as comprehensively modeling in Revit. Most recently I was able to be assigned to entire projects and see them through from schematic to construction, as well as meet with clients to discuss design options.
The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State), University Park, PA, US, BArch, Architecture
Through Penn State's Architecture program, I been able to work on and design a variety of projects and even create furniture pieces. On top of completing five years of extensive architectural education concluding in a thesis year, it is required to take three years of engineering courses as well as art history and theory. The program also provides a study abroad in Rome for a semester where I was able to study the architecture there as well as design a museum for a local site and immerse myself in the culture there.
