As a design nomad, Elisabeth Populo's background ranges from advertising with an emphasis on brand strategy to fantastic experiential living sculptures. She thrives on collaboration and loves to connect with like minded designers who never stop learning. Throughout her career she has been focused on the expression of brands and ideas through every medium of design - from a small post card or poster to animated water sculptures and signage. The goal of each project for Elisabeth is to foster engagement between people, with a specific space, with an idea, with a brand and with each other. A core area of expertise for her is continued growth in her design thinking abilities at every scale and across disciplines.

Part of Elisabeth Populo's nomadic approach to design is in thinking about projects critically from the perspective of all working parts constantly stepping out of what perhaps might be her comfort zone. Considering each project from the perspective of a developer, a marketer, an architect, the sign maker, the end user and most importantly the local context and community that will inevitably be impacted by the project upon completion. This type of approach produces the most compelling experience design with a lasting and positive impact.

Currently with Canary Studio, Elisabeth Populo's time is spent creating one of a kind experiences through brand development that translates at every level of interaction. Each project is directed by client objectives budgets and goals. Singular concepts are executed through a mix of finely tuned brand identity. This begins with competitive market evaluation, naming, logo design, signage, menu design, uniforms and final installation in tandem with CAD plan layouts, 3D models via SketchUp and the selection of interior finishes, fixtures and furniture.
