Throughout my career thus far, I have been able to combine my passion for design with the excitement of successfully managing complex, globally-based projects. I always find the various steps associated with project management exceptionally gratifying, as I know that my efforts are facilitating the achievement of an important collective goal.
Since 2018, I’ve held the dual roles of Technical Designer and Project Lead for Hanna Andersson, a highly respected fashion and home décor design house that enjoys reaching its audience through retail, online and mail order platforms. While responsible for ensuring that all design specifications and references are accurately followed by our ten international factories and manufacturers, I also deliver operational support to guarantee correct product fabrication, uncompromised quality control and overall compliance. Communication and organization are key, especially given the scope of the work and the diversity of production locations, and it’s my responsibility to assist our corporate office in meeting our designated seasonal and non-seasonal deadlines.
Prior to Hanna Andersson, I spent nearly four years as a Project Lead at Jennifer Loel Designs. Because the company delivers the full spectrum of manufacturing and production services to new designers, my role ran parallel to overseeing a new start-up: I directly participated in a broad, comprehensive menu of operations oversight while also handling business development, vendor relations and new hire training. In addition, I had opportunities to deliver presentations at variousindustry trade shows, and was featured in several publications for my contributions.
I truly enjoy interior design and I look forward to connecting with others who feel the same.
