About 

I am a designer born in Sweden and currently based in Los Angeles (U.S. Permanent Resident). I have a broad range of design experience and understanding of design, architecture and property development. Alongside two Master Degrees in Architecture I have provided almost 5 years of professional services to architecture, design and the arts with design projects across the world from Scandinavia, to the US to Australia. I have experience in a full spectrum of design, architectural and design work and I am well-versed in the aesthetic diversity required for high design. 

My knowledge includes design, design thinking, familiarity with building materials and systems as well as permitting, code analysis and BIM-modeling. I have extensive experience with a range of design and management software including ArchiCad, Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Sketchup, VRay, Lumion, Maya, 3DS Max and Adobe Suite. 

Employment 

Doug Aitken Workshop, Venice, CA, US, Designer/Architectural Design Consultant

Collaborating on a consultant basis as a designer in the studio of internationally renowned artist Doug Aitken. The art of Doug Aitken Workshop spans multiple mediums: from sculpture, film and installations to architectural interventions. My collaboration with Doug Aitken has been predominantly focused on the design and production of architectural structures, sculptures and exhibition designs.

My role has included design and project management responsibilities for architectural, large-scale permanent outdoor works and sculptures, as well as exhibition design, coordination and production of gallery shows.

Studio of Relativity, Inc. dba Relativity Architects, Los Angeles, Project Architect

Worked as a Project Captain and later Project Architect with projects ranging from boutique hotels to production studios and tech campuses, residences to restaurants and master plans to commercial spaces. Project Management responsibilities for many smaller scale projects; including administration, interpersonal and client coordination duties. Larger projects involved design, permitting and code analysis as well as BIM-modeling responsibilities. Coordinated engineers and consultants through all construction stages, guaranteeing efficient delivery and meeting deadlines. The role was very flexible but with a strong focus on design and creativity.

Mystery Inc, Venice, Collaborator

Collaborated as architect and interior designer on several branding and interior design hospitality projects, directly together with Senior Partner and owner. The focus was to design out-of-the-box spaces for hospitality and restaurants that were both market relevant and in line with the direction for the brand. Responsibility for conceptual ideas, plan layout, detailed interior design, securing necessary permits and creating full interior detailing and drawing sets for construction, including finish schedules and FF&E schedules. Procurement, including sourcing and specifying FF&E and chasing suppliers for costs and lead lead times. Construction Administration and supervision as well as supervision of the installation of all FF&E, decorations and staging - creating environments designed to the smallest details.

BIG | Bjarke Ingels Group, Los Angeles, Intern/Junior Architect

Worked as an Architectural Intern and later Junior Architect in the BIG’s internationally renowned Schematic Design department. Worked closely together with Partners and Project Managers as an important member of the design teams for several large-scale prominent international architecture competitions and developments. Won 1st Prize for the competitions of the Cité de Corps Humain in Montpellier, France and Västerås Travel Center in Västerås, Sweden, as well as 2nd prize for the proposal for Axel Springer Media Headquarters in Berlin, Germany.
