About 

I have seven years experience in Hong Kong high end retail A&A project, residential and Macau casino project. I involved in various type of project, i.e. local residential development in Argyle Street “Zumurud”residential buildings, Oil Street “ Harbour Glory”residential complex, Yuen Long Hung Shui Kiu residential complex, single family house in Kowloon Tong, airport super terminal cargo area renovation, columbarium planning application at Yuen Long, FSID work at Jardine House, A&A for shopping centre in Jordan, schematic design for master planning in Dubai and Vietnam. I am particularly experienced in detailed coordination with consultant, contractor, end user, tenant and government which enable me to develop an understanding of design, detailing, interfacing, programming, statutory and logistic issue. I am also experienced in administration and on site workmanship control and monitor different stage of works in building works.

 


Prior to joining Cheung Kong Asset Holding Limited, I worked
in I Consultant & contracting and Aedas LTD, I have developed considerable
experience in design and project management skills. I have strong aspiration
and commitment to develop my career further in the profession. Although I am
major in building and construction discipline, but l am willing to learn more
and others categories to enhance my working experience and strength my own
personal development. I have strong presentation skills on projects’ design and
co-ordination experience with clients, main contractors, designers and building
services technicians. Instead of having design concept, I understand the
construction technology likes stone installation and knowledge about other
building materials.

 

I also participated in the Green Roof project for the primary school as a volunteer and the City Dress Up Public Art Competition. I am one of the team members of the consultant to compose a feasibility report for the green roof project. I have also previously done a research on wall effect phenomenon in Hong Kong at the University which draws my conscious attention in environmental protection in building industry.

 

I possess strong analytical skills, good communication skills and capability to work under pressure. The Master of Architecture (MArch) is a two-year full-time program offered by the Department of Architecture, leading to a professional MArch degree. Hong Kong is situated at the crossroads of modern China and the international community, and within this unique context, the MArch program prepares students for the challenges to be faced by architects in the twenty-first century. Graduates of the program benefit from local expertise, firsthand knowledge of China, and global readiness. MArch students are immersed in an active culture of service and scholarship, in which disciplinary experimentation is balanced with the teaching of core professional competencies. Through a multidisciplinary curriculum emphasizing current design and production technologies, within an understanding of the historical and theoretical culture of architecture, the program enables students to acquire broad expertise, skills and knowledge with which to confront the complexities of contemporary architectural discourse, design and practice.

The professional degree of Master of Architecture (MArch) is recognized by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA), Architects Registration Board (ARB), Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA) and the National Board of Architectural Accreditation (NBAA). Upon passing the Professional Assessment held by HKIA/ARB in Hong Kong, graduates are eligible to apply for admission as Members of HKIA and as Registered Architects.

City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, HK, BArch, BSc(Hons) in Architectural Studies

The Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies BA(AS) provides an education that crosses the divide between Arts and Sciences. It is not only the first degree needed to qualify as an architect; but also provides an excellent general education that gives students the confidence to enter a number of other related fields. The course of study is centered on problem based learning in the design studio and is structured to foster a sense of community, develop deep knowledge of the discipline, and encourage creativity. Design programs in the studios are based on topical issues while encouraging a wide range of approaches to functional, environmental, and social challenges.

The BAAS program provides multiple opportunities for knowledge exchange within the community and in China, study tours to foundational sites of Asian architecture and urbanism, and practical experience on real-world projects through the Faculty’s Community Projects Workshop. Courses in the program are offered in the areas of Architectural Design, History and Theory of Architecture, Technology, and Visual Communication.
