I have recently graduated with a Master degree in Interior Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design, which is a STEM based program. The degree covered many topics, and I was particularly drawn to education, civic infrastructure, residence, adaptive reuse projects as well as object design. I am looking forward to exploring more in these fields.

I have previously worked across a range of projects including offices, residential apartments, hotels, offices, temples in 2 interior design firms, 1 architecture firm and 1 engineering firm during internship experience. Performing different roles in different companies, I have put my course theory into practice in a variety of ways. I was involved in schematic design/design development/FF&E selection/  construction drawings.

In the architecture firm, I mainly did diagrams/plan layout/technical drawings/ renderings/ physical and digital models.

And in the interior design firms, I was also involved in making material board/ coordination with suppliers.

In addition, as an engineer intern in the civil engineering company, I also reviewed construction document/ coordinated with architects and workers.

In all of these companies, I joined in presentation and submission drawing package presentation.

In addition to my professional experiences, I have been exploring furniture design in RISD, which helped me a lot in understanding space on small scales, selecting FF&E and coordinating with furniture suppliers. Also, my civil engineering undergraduate degree background has helped me a lot in the understanding of construction details.

I am a hard worker with a strong commitment to design. I work well with others, and do like seeking challenges.
