About

Steve is a born and raised New Yorker with a background in Architecture from the City College of New York. Being raised in such a unique environment, his influences often come from the streets and nuances of the city. Whether it's exploring otherwise forgotten spaces, visiting any and every art gallery, or even the local bodega, the city is never short on inspiration.

Although Steve's background is in Architecture, his first few years out of school were spent in a multidisciplinary firm Snarkitecture where the goal was always to create the unexpected, His portfolio includes sneaker store designs for Kith NYC, a holiday chocolate bar for Dandelion Chocolate, NYFW installations for NYC based brand Public School, and the graphic design for Usher Raymond's 2017 album Hard II Love, amongst many more projects. Each one of these projects were approached with the lens of turning the ordinary into the extraordinary in order to create memorable experiences.

Steve sought out to continue creating these types of moments, but at a larger scale and within different environments. He worked at Gensler NYC's workplace studio which focused on the Tech Sector. As tech firms continue to break away from the norms of the traditional office, the opportunities for unique spatial interventions are more prominent. These moments not only give employees a sense of proud ownership of their spaces, but are also able to give temporary visitors more than just a faint memory of a space they once visited. He also worked at WeWork as a lead designer as a means of continuing his studies in contemporary workplace design for one of the world's largest co-working giants.
Steve recently left the traditional interior architecture route to focus on experiential design and currently works at MKG.
