My Name is Isela Lopez and I am recent M.arch Graduate from Parsons The New School and this years Eileen Gray Thesis Prize winner.

Responsible for making final models and renders for the Commercial project in Shandog, China. Which contributed to the successful completion of the schematic design phase. In addition, I took responsibility for the overall planning of our participation in the 2017 Chicago Biennial that took place earlier this fall. My responsibility was to understand the multiple ways in which our project could be manufactured and assembled for the Biennial. I worked as a Liaison between our Tokyo office and various U.S manufacturers. In September, I accompanied a select few from the office to help set up our project in Chicago. In addition, I participated in the making of several models for Ishigami’s exhibition Freeing Architecture. Currently on display at the Cartier foundation in Paris

Responsible for correcting plans in CAD, plotting, picking up sample materials and rendering in Revit.

Responsible for executing design process from conceptual to final phase. Worked directly with client and creative shop to carry out the end product. Lead Architectural consultant in developing a unique atmosphere and architectural design for the business proposal of Japanese street kitchen. Responsible for architectural plans, elevations, materiality, renderings, proposal layout and design.

Responsible for executing estimating projects, initiating bids, setting up project viewings and carrying out the day-to-day responsibilities of each function, often under tight deadlines. Worked with clients such as Survey Monkey, Charles Schwab and Chase Bank; taking projects from their conceptual stages through to completion as detailed, functional designs. Actively explored the relationships between Architects, Engineers and the construction team during a variety of interdisciplinary projects.
