Free and easy access to information and knowledge available on the web is influencing lifestyle of the people causing the world to tend towards a physical isolation in which people are finding their answers on their own. Therefore there is a tendency for more personal services, specially in case of health care.

Based on this assumption in response to demand for more personal health care services, a one-stop-center medical establishment is proposed to foster personal health care in a holistic approach by collection individuals’ medical data. By processing these data, complete resources of information on each and every individual’s medical status is gathered by using the advantages of advanced medical scanning and problem detection technologies.

The processed information is logged on patient’s profile which will be accessed by medical practitioners and specialists in different departments not only in house but also by the elite specialists linked to the global network of the organization.

Predicting future opportunities for the strategic location of Alexanderplatz, a planning concept of ‘growth’ is applied that carefully considers the urban condition of the site in relationship to the rapid expansion of Berlin as a modern city. 'Lux’ is a mixed-use development containing high-end residences and a hotel. The design comprises of seven towers that minimise the overall building footprint, radically positioning the structures within the boundary and generating spaces that penetrate between volumes, maximising social interaction and embracing the overflow of the plazas tourists and commuters.

This design continues the concept of growth up towards the top levels of the towers by creating dynamic bridge connections across different floors. Each bridge acquires a sky garden concept, acting as pathways for the residents and an extension of interior to exterior through vertical levels, whilst providing a unique and exclusive experience of leisure and luxury that is strengthened by the beautiful skyline of Berlin’s city centre.

The lavish timber room as unique and unusual in kind, is an inspiration of nature inside out, a manifestation of a classic voyage of old ages, a floating sailboat on the waves of the ocean.

The structure is inn kit form, made of cross laminated timber which deliberately form a ‘termite structure’.

The fabric structure not only visually resembles the sail of a boat but does more functionally. In the way it embraces the wooden mound protecting it from direct sun light and the rain while entrapping the wind and directing is inside through the openings of the infested mound.
