About 

I am a graduate architect engaged in critical inter-relationship between Architecture, Behaviors and Technology with a research interest in behavioral psychology, materials, lighting and simulation. I hold a Master of Science in Architecture Design and Research from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. During my time in Michigan, I was involved in researching on “Spaces to de-stress by linking neuroscience to architecture”. I have a Bachelor of Architecture with distinction from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.

Ovoid Atelier, Pondicherry, IN, Senior Architect

Designed renovation proposals for residences, apartments, and hotels.
Detailed interior designs with floor plans and custom furniture.

Worked as project lead to design and execute a $2.5 million mixed-use
development comprising of 42 apartments and 4 offices. Coordinated
drawings with consultants for structural, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

Researched construction materials to balance costs versus aesthetics,
physical properties, ease of use, and assembly requirements.

Aishwarya Tipnis Architects, New Delhi, IN, Project Architect

Submitted restoration proposals for conservation projects including a
steam locomotive museum, the Doon school, and the Chamundamata
Temple.

Conducted site visits, client meetings, and opportunity analysis. Researched
project feasibility, developed building assessments and structural analyses.

Drafted technical details, condition mapping, and historical layering for
proposals.

I hold a Master of Science in Architecture Design and Research from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. During my time in Michigan, I was involved in researching on “Spaces to de-stress by linking neuroscience to architecture”.

I was an integral part of the installation "House17" at the Bi-City Shenzhen/Hong Kong Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture, “Migrating Shenzhen Scenes: Cánjírén and Precariat Space”, in December 2017 with Mary-Ann Ray. This was curated by Hou Hanru, Liu Xiaodu and Meng Yan. This installation comprised of motion enabled lanterns to guide visitors to the exhibit 'House 17'; a restored 1 bedroom house in the Urban Village of Nantou, Shenzhen.
