Cherrie Hu is an architectural and interior designer based in New York, with a focus on commercial, hospitality, and cultural projects. Hu is a Certificated Passive Housing Designer and holds a master degree from Columbia University (Advanced Architectural Design). Hu worked on large cultural, hospitality projects in Steven Holl Architects and Vector Architects. Hu's academic works were focused on concept, program and spatiality. Hu believes that architecture is from micro to macro, from detail to unity. She prefers non-digital methodologies and humanized interpretation. She has a good understanding of scale, proportion and materiality.
